PolarPro 82mm QuartzLine Circular Polarizer Filter

This Filter is a high-quality filter designed to reduce glare and enhance colors in your photos and videos at Icon Cameras. The PolarPro 82mm QuartzLine Circular Polarizer Filter is designed to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out polarized light. It is constructed from quartz glass for enhanced durability and features 16 layers of anti-reflection coatings to prevent internal ghosting and reflections while promoting clarity and color fidelity.

Key Features:

• Quartz Glass Construction: The filter is made from 99.9% pure fused quartz, which ensures superior clarity and durability. This material is less prone to scratching and provides consistent light transmission.
• Circular Polarizer: It helps to reduce reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces, such as water or glass. This feature also enhances color saturation, making skies appear bluer and foliage more vibrant.
• 82mm Thread Size: Designed to fit lenses with an 82mm diameter. It’s important to ensure that your lens has the correct filter size.
• Anti-Reflective Coating: The filter is coated with multiple layers to minimize reflections and ghosting, leading to better image quality.
• Rugged Frame: The filter frame is made from aerospace-grade aluminum, providing durability without adding unnecessary weight to your camera setup.
• Hydrophobic and Scratch-Resistant Coating: The filter is protected against water, oil, and scratches, making it easier to clean and maintain.

Benefits:

• Improved Image Quality: By reducing glare and enhancing colors, this filter can significantly improve the quality of your outdoor photos, especially in bright sunlight.
• Durability: The use of quartz glass and a rugged frame ensures that the filter can withstand harsh conditions, making it suitable for professional use in various environments.
• Easy Maintenance: The hydrophobic and scratch-resistant coating makes the filter easier to clean, which is essential for maintaining image quality over time.

Use Cases:

• Landscape Photography: Enhances skies and reduces reflections on water bodies.
• Videography: Useful for controlling reflections and enhancing color contrast in video shoots.
• Travel Photography: Durable enough to withstand different environments, making it a reliable choice for travel photographers.

Overview:

Overall, the PolarPro 82mm QuartzLine Circular Polarizer Filter is a robust and effective tool for photographers and videographers who want to elevate the quality of their work by controlling reflections and enhancing colors. The PolarPro 82mm QuartzLine Circular Polarizer Filter effectively reduces reflections and glare by filtering out polarized light caused by reflections from nonmetallic surfaces. Sunlight becomes partially polarized as it scatters off electrons in air molecules, creating a haze. This polarizing filter aligns and selectively filters this polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, absorbing much of it. The result is a significant reduction in glare and reflections, along with enhanced color saturation in skies and foliage.
