See below for the features and benefits of the Sigma 90mm f/2.8 DG Contemporary Lens available to purchase online in multiple configurations and colors at Icon Cameras.
Compact medium-telephoto prime (90mm) designed for full-frame mirrorless (Sony E & L-Mount). Ideal for portraits, detail shots, and travel.
Bright f/2.8 maximum aperture allows subject separation and reliable performance in low-light while keeping size and weight low.
Part of Sigma’s I-Series (DG DN Contemporary): combines high optical performance with premium all-metal build and classic styling.
Smooth, rounded bokeh thanks to 9 rounded diaphragm blades.
High-quality optics: uses 11 elements in 10 groups with 5 SLD elements to minimize aberrations and maintain sharpness.
Fast, quiet autofocus driven by a stepping motor, suitable for both stills and video.
Durable build: all-metal barrel, precision-cut rings, and a tactile aperture ring (click-stopped, with option for smooth rotation).
Dust- and splash-resistant mount with Super Multi-Layer Coating and water/oil-repellent front element.
Extremely lightweight & compact for its focal length — highly portable portrait lens.

This lens uses a 55mm front filter thread. The options below match that size and use a screw-in mount. Choose UV for protection, CPL for reflections, or ND/VND for bright-light video and long exposures. Diffusion filters create a softer look. Avoid stacking filters on wide-angle lenses.
